Hope Media Group is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jeff Evans as the new Program Director for WayFM

Hope Media Group (HMG) has made an exciting announcement, revealing Jeff Evans as the newly appointed Program Director for WayFM. With his start date set for the end of July, Jeff will soon become an integral part of the team.

Prior to joining HMG, Jeff held the position of Programming Operations Director for Pillar Media’s STAR 93.3 in Cincinnati and STAR 99.1 in New York, showcasing his expertise over the past decade.

Scott Herrold, Chief of Programming for Hope Media Group, expressed his confidence in Jeff, highlighting his exceptional ability to foster teamwork and his extensive background as a program director in both mainstream and Christian radio. Scott also emphasized Jeff’s shepherding gifts, which are expected to contribute significantly to WayFM’s forthcoming phase of growth.

Jeff’s impressive career includes serving as the Operations Manager for Townsquare Media’s group of radio stations in Tyler, Texas, namely KNUE, KISX, KTYL, and KKTX. Under his leadership, all four radio stations achieved top-five ratings. Furthermore, Jeff has showcased his talents as an on-air personality for Mix 102.9 (KDMX) in Dallas.
