In a conversation with Billboard, Michael Cochren of Cochren & Co.’s shared this;
“When crafting this song, my aim was to create a powerful, nostalgic anthem that evokes the feeling of rolling down the windows and embracing the moment. During the recording process, we poured our hearts into it without holding anything back. I am genuinely overwhelmed by the overwhelming love and support for “Running Home.” It fills me with gratitude to achieve my first No. 1 radio single, especially with a message and sound that truly reflects my authentic self.”
